The Air Jordan 11 Retro is one of (if not) the best Air Jordan's of all time. In 2008, Jordan Brand retroed the original black/red colorway for the second time. Nicknamed the "Playoff" or "Bred" edition, they feature a black-based mesh and patent leather upper with a white midsole and red translucent outsole. This pair was only available as a part of the final "Countdown" Pack, along with the "Taxi" AJ 12. Their release date was December 26th, 2008 and was available in men's and gradeschool sizing. If you missed out on this "CDP," you would've had to wait until December of 2012 before you would get your chance to snatch this Air Jordan 11 Retro up at retail again. What made this pair special and different from all the other retro versions was the custom printed insoles, representing the 23rd Anniversary of the Air Jordan as well as the custom packaging it was housed in. While most AJ 11/12 CDP's were kept whole, some people still split them up, deciding to keep one pair and sell the other. Because of this, you can buy either pair by itself or as a complete set online.
